Dr. Jeong-Hak Kim, CEO of PHILOS Co., Ltd./ Wellspring Co., Ltd., has been recognized with a 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🏅 (Prime Minister's Commendation) for his contributions to water management policies through membrane development!
This recognition holds significant weight as it is a government award organized by the Ministry of Environment.
Since being recognized for developing the first industrial membrane in Korea in 1992 and receiving a technical award, Dr. Kim has been acknowledged for his efforts in water management in the same industry for 37 years. This is a truly meaningful recognition of his dedication.
He has contributed to the industrialization of membranes through the development of membranes for drinking water purification, wastewater treatment, and hydrogen fuel cells. Additionally, he has developed and distributed appropriate technology-based membrane water purifiers for developing countries to address water issues and improve social problems.
